Grease will accumulate in any extraction system, no matter how new the system is, which is why it is a legal requirement to clean commercial kitchen extraction systems. Our many years of experience specialising in the cleaning of commercial kitchen duct cleaning ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.

Assessing Risk:
We can perform a detailed survey of your grease extract system and provide a photographic and written report free of charge. It will also describe any remedial action required to eliminate any identified risks.

Certificate of Completion
A certificate of completion is issued after every full clean and can be used as proof of the work carried out for both insurance and legal reasons.

Legal Requirements
Cleanliness and fire safety are essential ingredients of every well managed kitchen. At the heart of the matter is your kitchen extract system, the perfect landing place for grease, oil and other deposits.

The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and Fire Regulations place a very strict 'duty of care' on the manager of the premises. Part of the regulations stipulates that grease extract systems must be assessed for fire hazards and action MUST be taken to eliminate or minimise potential risks.
​
Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, minimizing the fire risk by removing grease deposits with regular cleaning programmes which are devised to suit your individual kitchen needs.
Since 2004 the responsibility for risk assessment has been placed on building owners and/or occupiers.

Kitchen grease extract systems potentially carry a high fire risk and need regular inspections and cleaning. At Ryan Clean Ltd we go to great lengths to ensure the extract systems are thoroughly cleansed and potential fire or contamination risks removed. A hygiene certificate is supplied for every job on completion and we also carry out pre and post cleaning micron testing.
